CoolLED will be demonstrating the precisExcite unit at ELMI next week.  We will be in the Aspen II exhibition room where you can try precisExcite on various microscopes.  Bring along your own samples and take the opportunity to appreciate the many benefits of LED technology - instant control, stability, intensity, automation.

precisExcite is suitable for both standard and high-end applications whether convenience, instant control and low running costs are attractive or where reduced sample damage, microsecond switching and no vibration, heat or mechanical delay are desired.

NEW pE-2 collimator with increased flexibility

The precisExcite pE-2 collimator has been developed to offer greater flexibility with the incorporation of interchangeable high-performance optics within the collimator itself. The selection of the pE-2 collimator with the precisExcite main unit will be particularly beneficial for        Live Cell applications.

Fast-switching (in microseconds) of excitation wavelengths without any moving parts can be achieved by selecting appropriate multi-band excitation, dichroic and emission filters for the microscope's filter cube. In addition, it is possible to fit excitation filters within the pE-2 collimator for applications requiring the highest performance.
