CoolLED's revised Website focussing on Fluorescence Microscopy

Continuing success for the precisExcite^® LED Excitation System from CoolLED has encouraged the company to revise its website to take account of the increased requests for information relating to Fluorescence Microscopy applications.

The new website has a full explanation of the benefits of LED excitation of fluorophores. Current incandescent bulb technology is limited by poor control and instability. LEDs overcome these problems with extended lifetime, ease-of-use, and excellent control.


There are now several Application Notes relating to benefits experienced in time-lapse and intensity applications using precisExcite^®. This area of the website will increase as users report on successes in their particular fields.

Details on enhanced light source stability and capability for short-period pulsing of excitation wavebands will follow soon.
