LED Array Modules (LAM®s)
precisExcite® users can select LAM®s for excitation at wavelengths for their particular application. LAM®s are interchangeable and additional modules can be added as required. The chart below shows available wavelengths. New LAMs are being added regularly. You can select the desired wavelengths. The default configuration is for DAPI, FITC & Rhodamine – 400, 465 & 525nm.
Each LAM® is guaranteed for a three year period. This makes for a great saving in running costs compared with lamp-based light sources (For further details: Cost of Ownership)
precisExcite® is able to recognise the different LAM®s when they are fitted into the unit and the controls will automatically adjust to reflect the set of LAM®s installed. Exchange of a LAM® is simple and can be achieved in a few minutes.
